Travelling locally, village to village in Uganda and Rwanda
The transport systems in both countries are same though in Rwanda a more organised measure is followed especially traveling on motors bikes. In Uganda you can stop a commuter min bus at any point you wish while in Rwanda, you will have to move to designated place where you can catch one.
With the use of motor bikes, both the passenger and the rider have to put on the protective helmet, thus in Uganda you can jump onto any bike without helmet. Well Kampala and Kigali a quite different in terms of rush hours, Kampala is busier and business on every potential item.
Pedestrian walkways, individuals who prefer to trek are catered for, with every road has a pedestrian walk way lane. This makes it very convenient for the user’s safety. It’s very important to move carefully not beyond 6:00pm for safety against thieves.
Cycling on the roads isn’t very safe, being that motorists use the same pathway with the minority cyclers. It’s not advisable cycling on the busy roads in the city.
